Mrs. Sauder’s son, Morgan Tyler, 10, was taken by medical helicopter to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, where he was in serious condition late Tuesday in the pediatric intensive-care unit. He had not worn, while his mother, who did, was treated for minor injuries.
Mrs. Thomas, who wore a seat belt, also was flown to St. Vincent, where her condition was not available Tuesday night.
The crash occurred about two miles east of Stryker and nearly 50 miles west of Toledo.
