Seven northwest Ohio residents arrested in drug ring
STRYKER, Ohio — The Multi-Area Narcotics task force has arrested seven people in northwest Ohio after uncovering a Stryker-hubbed high-grade marijuana distribution network in Williams, Putnam, and Defiance counties, authorities said today.
Arrested were Matthew Randolph, 35, Brandon Taylor, 26, and Carl Blankenship, 37, all of Stryker; Lon Miller, 61, Angela Saman, 48, and Sean Oehler, 34, all of Defiance, and Karissa Mann, 20, of Sherwood, according to task force.
Charges include aggravated trafficking of marijuana and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. More arrests and charges are pending, officers said.
Before the local charges, authorities arrested Edgar Santan, 24, of Houston, where members of the local narcotics task force traveled to recently. While there, a searched warrant was executed and 40 pounds of marijuana and other items were confiscated.
The cases are expected to be presented to the Williams County Grand Jury later this month, according to task force.
Stryker, which is in Williams County, is about 50 miles west of Toledo.
