Toledo police plan to recruit 75 officers
Toledo police officially kicked off a recruitment campaign today at the Toledo Police Museum.
Police Lt. Brian Twining said the men and women being recruited will be in a pool of potential candidates for a class of 75, scheduled to begin the academy in 2013.
Lieutenant Twining said interested people first need to fill out an interest card, which will enter their information into a database and will allow the department to send reminders about the civil service test.
Recruits must also fill out an application, which will be available from Nov. 3 until Nov. 16. The civil service exam will be administered on Dec. 1.
Interest cards and additional information are available on the department’s Web site, toledopolice.com.
