Indiana student accused of murder

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Indiana State University has suspended a student facing a murder charge for a campus shooting that killed one man and injured two others.

University Police Chief Bill Mercier said William Mallory, 21, a sophomore, was suspended after Friday's shooting in a campus parking lot that followed a disagreement in a tavern. He is being held on a murder charge at the Vigo County Jail in early Friday's fatal shooting of Dustin Kelly, 24, of Terre Haute.
