2 men face charges over drive-by shooting

BOWLING GREEN -- Two men are being held in the Wood County jail after a drive-by shooting was reported near downtown Bowling Green on Thursday.

Braxton Stewart, 18, of 624 Hermitage Ct., Oregon, is charged with receiving stolen property and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle; Nicholas Urias, 19, of 1502 Vinal St., Toledo, is charged with underage under the influence and obstructing official business.

Mr. Urias pleaded not guilty Thursday in Bowling Green Municipal Court and was ordered held in lieu of $5,000 bond. He is set for a bond hearing today.

Mr. Braxton was ordered held in lieu of $40,000 bond pending a hearing Wednesday.
