Man, 35, faces menacing, trespassing charges
PORT CLINTON — A Port Clinton man and a teenager were arrested inside an East Sand Road home early today after the Ottawa County Sheriff Office Special Response Team surrounded the house and made entry.
Miguel Popoca, 35, was charged with three counts of aggravated menacing and one count each of aggravated trespassing, inducing panic, and obstructing official business. A 17-year-old male faces unspecified charges in juvenile court.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were called about 1:15 a.m. to 2323 East Sand Road on a report of two unwanted people at the home. When officers arrived, the two fled to a bedroom.
