Police are looking for three men who authorities say conned their way into at least six homes in Toledo since the beginning of the year. The most recent incident was on Newport Avenue in West Toledo.

An 84-year-old woman reported that a man knocked on her door just after 1 p.m. Saturday and asked her for a drink of water. Once inside, the man kept her in a room while two other men took almost $1,000 she had hidden, police reported. They left in a white 2008 Ford Edge.

The suspect who tricked the woman is described as white, in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, and 175 pounds. The second suspect is described as white, in his 50s, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and 200 pounds. The third suspect is also described as white, in his 50s, about 6 feet, 2 inches and about 300 pounds, with brown hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
