Trick-or-treaters — and their parents — may have their candy screened for safety at the Lucas County Juvenile Justice Complex, 1801 Spielbusch Ave., in downtown Toledo today.
Off-duty sheriff’s deputies will operate X-ray machines and metal detectors from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Parking will be available on the street outside the Juvenile Justice Complex, which is across the street from the federal courthouse.
