Double shooting in central city under investigation

Toledo police are investigating a double shooting in the central city, officials said.

Two people were reported shot near Vance and Blum streets at about 11:20 a.m. today, although police could not immediately locate the victims or a crime scene.

Police received numerous calls of shots fired and then of two people seen limping from the 1000 block of Vance.

Two people with gunshot wounds showed up in a private vehicle at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center about 20 minutes later.

Police reported finding shell casings at North Hawley Street and Blum.
