NAPOLEON --Police are searching today for a Defiance woman who they believe may have been taken from a Napoleon residence against her will.

Napoleon City Police are looking for Natalie Rose McCoy, 24, of Defiance, after a man police identified as Gilberto Villarreal Jr., 27, entered a residence where Ms. McCoy was inside.

Police responded just after noon to a report of a gunshot at 56 Sunnydale Lane in the Valley Brook Estates mobile home park in Napoleon. The homeowner told officers an unknown male entered his residence through a window and assaulted a female inside.
