MANITOU BEACH, Mich -- An explosion tonight at a cottage on the northeast side of Devils Lake sparked a fire that spread to a second structure, WTVG-TV, Channel 13 reported.
No injuries were reported.
The blast was reported about 8:30 p.m. near Glenwood Drive and Round Lake Highway in Lenawee County's Woodstock Township. Five fire departments responded, including the Addison department.
Firefighters were still dousing hot spots by 11 p.m. The interior of at least one of the cottages was destroyed, reported Channel 13, media partner of The Blade.
The cause of the explosion was not yet known.
Authorities evacuated nearby residents for several minutes, but they were allowed to return late tonight.
Devils Lake is about 55 miles northwest of Toledo.
