Michigan police seek man in Walmart theft

The suspect is described as a white man or teenage boy, of average build, with collar-long hair. He was wearing a baseball-type hat put on backwards, dark pants, white short-sleeve pullover shirt and had a chain around his neck. ADRIAN, Mich. --- Michigan State Police are seeking help through the Crime Stoppers of Lenawee about a theft last month at a Walmart store in Madison Township.

About 8 a.m. on Jan. 25, the thief entered Walmart Supercenter at 1601 E. U.S. 223. Once inside the store, he went to the automotive department and took an in-dash car stereo system and a speaker from the stores shelf. He then removed the stereo and the speaker from their boxes, hid them under his clothes, and quickly exited the store.

The suspect is described as a white man or teenage boy, of average build, with collar-long hair. He was wearing a baseball-type hat put on backwards, dark pants, white short-sleeve pullover shirt and had a chain around his neck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Lenawee at 517-266-6161 or 877-276-8477.

Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward for information that leads to the arrests of those responsible.
