Perrysburg Police have asked the Ohio Fire Marshal to investigate what caused a vehicle to catch fire and spread to two other vehicles in a parking lot at Perrysburg High School.
The fire was reported about 2 p.m. today in the parking area off Roachton Road at the east side of the school, police said.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, Sgt. Patrick McGuire said. There were no injuries.
He said the state Fire Marshall was contacted to send an investigator to assist the department in determing the fire's origin.
"Right now the fire is under investigation," Sergeant McGuire said. The vehicles, which belong to students or their parents, were removed from the school grounds and taken to a secure area.
