An investigation by Perrysburg police of a two-car fire at the Perrysburg High School student parking lot Feb. 21 is ongoing, but it looks like an accident, police said Tuesday.
“Based on the initial investigation it appears to be an accident,” said Perrysburg Deputy Chief Michael Gilmore. “We are waiting for other information to come back to the office to confirm this.” Chief Gilmore said that would likely take three weeks.
Perrysburg Schools declined to comment, deferring to the police investigation.
No one was injured in the fire, which happened just before school ended for the day. It did not alter dismissal time.
