Body found by railroad tracks identified

OAK HARBOR - Ottawa County officials have identified the man who was found dead along railroad tracks in Salem Township on Monday.

The Ottawa County Coroner's Office said the body found was that of 56-year-old Roger Luna.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office received a report from a train crew at about 11 a.m. Monday, that a body was between the two tracks of Norfolk Southern's Toledo-Cleveland main line, near Christiansen Road.

Ottawa County Coroner Dan Cadigan said no official cause of death has been issued yet, but it appears the man died of blunt force trauma.

Mr. Luna's last known address was Toledo's Cherry Street Mission, 105 17th St.
