Findlay motorcyclist dies in Wood County crash

BOWLING GREEN — A Findlay motorcyclist died Tuesday after a crash on U.S. 6 at I-75 in Wood County's Center Township. Dean W. Martin, 48, was flown to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, where he was pronounced dead.

Ohio Highway Patrol troopers said Mr. Martin was westbound on U.S. 6 at the I-75 on-ramp about 5:15 p.m. when an eastbound car driven by Kalena Kuhnle, 22, of Bowling Green tried to turn left onto the on-ramp. In the collision Mr. Martin was thrown from his motorcycle. He wore a helmet.

Ms. Kuhnle was taken to Wood County Hospital with apparently minor injuries.
