Toledo police are looking for a man they believe tried to rob two North Toledo hotels by gunpoint within six minutes.
The first robbery was reported at 11:40 p.m. at Fairfield Inn & Suites, 5685 Benore Rd.
A man went into the hotel, showed he had a gun, and jumped over the front counter to demand cash from an employee, the report states.
The man did not get any cash, but fled on foot.
At 11:46 p.m., and about a half mile away, a man went into a Hampton Inn, 5865 Hagman St., showed he had a gun and demanded cash from an employee.
Again, police say, he fled without stealing any money.
A description of the man was not made available by police.
