Authorities put Dorian Hester, 19, into an ambulance after a shooting on the corner of Evans and South Cove Blv.
A Toledo teen was taken to a local hospital today after being shot near South Cove Boulevard and Evans Street in Central Toledo.
Dorian Hester, 19, was shot at least once at about 3 p.m. His injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
The victim told police he was walking when a man started shooting at him.
A witness, Brad Cranon, Sr., who was fishing in a nearby creek said the victim and another male were shooting at one another.
The victim ran to the nearby Monroe Street Neighborhood Center, 3613 Monroe St., where he was picked up by Toledo paramedics.
Police were combing through the brush looking for shell casings and a gun.
Mr. Cranon, of Toledo, said he heard three to four gunshots.
