Early morning tractor-trailer rig blaze in Fulton County forces traffic to 1 lane.
ARCHBOLD, Ohio — Westbound traffic on the Ohio Turnpike remained restricted to one lane after a tractor-trailer rig fire closed the road near this Fulton County community for at least an hour early Wednesday, authorities said.
There were no reported injuries, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol‘s post in Berea, Ohio.
The incident occurred about 5:15 a.m. just west of the turnpike exit to Fulton County Road 24, a patrol dispatcher said. A westbound lane reopened sometime before 7:15 a.m., the dispatcher said.
Archbold is about 40 miles southwest of Toledo.
