Toledo man shot several times during break-in

A Toledo man was shot “more than once” in his buttocks on Monday morning at a central Toledo residence, police said.

Alon Bellous, whose age was not available, was at 1443 Foster Ave. when two men — one wearing a mask — broke in through a back door and opened fire at 11:50 a.m., police said. It was not known how many shots were fired. The victim was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in a private vehicle. A hospital spokesman had no information about the patient.

No additional suspect information was available. Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
