A multiple-vehicle crash in central Toledo injured two people and closed a major intersection for about two hours, authorities said.
Two people, whose names and conditions were not released, were taken to ProMedicaToledo Hospital, according to the Toledo fire department. One of them had suffered “major trauma,” according to police radio traffic.
The crash at Detroit Avenue and Dorr Street was reported at 12:02 p.m., according to police.

The intersection was closed to traffic for about two hours, police said. Traffic in the intersection returned to normal at 2:14 p.m., a police dispatcher said.
Police officials said seven vehicles were involved in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
