The Lucas County OVI Task Force will hold three checkpoints Friday in Toledo to deter impaired driving.

Law enforcement officers will conduct the stops from 8 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday. They will take place at 1125 W. Alexis Rd. in West Toledo, and 5801 Suder Ave. and 2753 Shoreland Ave. in Point Place.

These checkpoints will be paid for by a grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
