The Division of State Fire Marshal’s Fire and Explosion Investigations Bureau is seeking tips about two fires intentionally set at abandoned homes in Sylvania Township.

Both fires happened before 9:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at abandoned homes in the 3600 block of North Holland-Sylvania Road, according to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the fire.

Anyone with information should contact the State Fire Marshal’s Office at 800-589-2728.

The fire marshal’s office, the Sylvania Township Police Department, and the Sylvania Township Police Department continue to investigate.
