Fulton County GOP offers 3 names for judgeship

WAUSEON - The Fulton County Republican Central Committee has agreed to submit the names of three lawyers to Gov. Bob Taft as its candidates for the county's Western District Court judge.

Jeffrey Robinson, a partner with Barber, Kaper, Stamm & Robinson in Wauseon, and Peter Short and David P. Rupp, Jr., both partners in Plassman, Rupp, Short, & Hagans in Archbold, were the only applicants. The governor asked the central committee for three candidates, unranked.

Each is seeking to replace James Hensal, who resigned Jan. 1 after 16 years to move to Florida.
