Dingell to visit Bedford, discuss Social Security

SAMARIA, Mich. - U.S. Rep. John Dingell (D., Dearborn) will speak at noon today at the Bedford Senior Center concerning President Bush's plans to overhaul Social Security.

Mr. Dingell is the most senior member of the House and has been an outspoken opponent of the administration's desire to tinker with Social Security.

The Senior Center is at 1653 Samaria Rd., near Jackman Road. The town hall meeting is free and open to the public.
