LANSING - Michigan Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land has issued a reminder to voters that Monday is the last day to register for the May 3 school election.
This will be the second election that will take place under the state's new election consolidation law.
Residents may register for the vote at their county clerk's office, any Secretary of State office, or at their local municipal clerk's office.
The May 3 school election is more than a month earlier than in previous years.
It will feature school board races across Monroe and Lenawee counties.
