U.S. Rep. Ted Strickland, the Democratic candidate for Ohio governor, will visit Toledo twice next week.
Mr. Strickland will attend an Independence Day celebration here on July 4, with details to be announced, his campaign said yesterday.
Three days later, he will open his Toledo field office across from Fifth Third Field - in Mayor Carty Finkbeiner's old campaign headquarters - at 8 p.m.
Mr. Strickland's running mate, Lee Fisher, will be in Wood County July 3 for a fund-raiser.
