Lucas County Republicans call, visit over 16,300

The Lucas County Republican Party held a get-out-the-vote “phone-a-thon” Saturday, encouraging thousands of residents by phone and in person to vote in the Nov. 2 election.
Calls went out to 14,616 people during what's known as “Super Saturday,” and 1,700 people were reached as party representatives went door to door.
