BLADE STAFF
BLISSFIELD, Mich. — A zoning ordinance regulating wind turbines that Riga Township officials approved in July will stay in effect after voters rejected a referendum seeking to overturn the law.
The repeal, which was sought by groups that desired less restrictions on developing the giant machines on farmland near Blissfield in Lenawee County, lost 440 to 236.
