FINDLAY — A former candidate for Findlay mayor announced Wednesday he intends to run for the Republican nomination for Hancock County commissioner next spring.
Brian Robertson, partner and vice president of MBDS LLC, a manufacturing services firm, said he wants to “change the current path and return accountability along with a greater sense of cooperation back to our community.”
He was one of four Republicans who ran for mayor in this year’s primary. Lydia Mihalik, who won the primary, was elected mayor on Tuesday.
Mr. Robertson’s wife, Jane, was elected Tuesday to the Findlay city school board.
