WATERVILLE -- Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, better known as "Joe the Plumber," will speak at the next Fallen Timbers Republican Club meeting.
The free event is open to the public and scheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 12 at Harmony Hall in the Browning Retirement Center, 8885 Browning Dr. in Waterville.
Mr. Wurzelbacher is running for Ohio's 9th Congressional District.
If he wins the GOP primary, Mr. Wurzelbacher would be up against the Democratic primary winner -- likely either the incumbent, U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D., Toledo) or U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D., Cleveland).
