Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum will speak at U.S. Rep. Bob Latta’s 5th Congressional District Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner March 3, joining the previously announced guest, Grover Norquist. Mr. Latta (R., Bowling Green) announced the additional speaker through his re-election campaign committee Wednesday.
The event is set for 7 p.m. at Lenhart Grand Ballroom in Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Bowling Green State University.
Mr. Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform, will be the keynote speaker.
Latta spokesman Izzy Santa said Mr. Santorum’s appearance does not mean that Mr. Latta is endorsing Mr. Santorum in the March 6 Republican presidential primary election. She said all the GOP presidential candidates were invited and so far only Mr. Santorum confirmed he would attend.
Tickets are $25 per person and are available through the county Republican Party offices or by emailing the Latta for Congress committee at LincolnDayDinner@lattaforcongress.com.
