Presidential candidates' campaigns return to Ohio
President Obama returns to Ohio for a campaign trip this Thursday.
The President is to visit the Cuyahoga Community College Recreation Center in Cleveland in an event that is open to the public, according to a notice from the Obama campaign.
It will be Mr. Obama’s first trip to Ohio in more than a month. He was here May 5th, for a campaign kickoff event at Ohio State University in Columbus.
Democratic President Obama and likely Republican nominee Mitt Romney are dueling for the Buckeye State, one of about nine states considered to be toss-ups in the November presidential election.
Mr. Romney, who last campaigned in Ohio May 7, in Euclid, is expected in Cincinnati on Wednesday for a fund-raising event.
He will return on Sunday for a series of stops in Ohio as part of a bus tour he’s calling “Believe in America: Every Town Counts.” Five other states are on the bus tour: Michigan, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
