The city of Sylvania’s flag could get a makeover. At the May 6 council meeting, Mayor Craig Stough said city flags at government buildings are worn and tattered. Before ordering new flags, he suggested reviewing the one-leaf logo and considering the possibility of a redesign.
The council was given two new designs for consideration. The main change could be to use three leaves and add colors, similar to the city’s logo. The Community Relations Committee, headed by Councilman Mark Luetke, will review the design examples and submit more design ideas for review.
