AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Sam Young's three-point play with 22 seconds left gave the Memphis Grizzlies a 106-103 preseason victory over the Pistons Friday night.
Young then blocked DaJuan Summers' attempt at a game-tying 3-pointer in the final seconds keeping the Grizzlies (6-0) undefeated in the preseason.
Young and Marc Gasol led Memphis with 16 points each, while Austin Daye had 22 for Detroit (3-4). The Pistons lost Ben Gordon to a bruised shoulder in the first half.
