Michigan International Speedway is the site of ARCA, NASCAR, and SAE Formula racing.

BROOKLYN, Mich. — Michigan International Speedway is giving members of the public a shot at taking a few trips around the 2-mile track.

For $25, fans can drive three laps around the Brooklyn race track at a maximum speed of 70 miles per hour.

Laps will take place during the noon to 1 p.m. lunch hour during selected dates through the beginning of August and be paced by the MIS Ford Mustang pace car.

The track laps are limited to passenger vehicles only, and passing of other vehicles isn't allowed.

Drivers must be 18 years of age, and all participants need to sign a waiver before driving on the track.
