CHICAGO — Former Central Catholic and Ohio State wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher made the 53-man roster of the Chicago Bears after final roster cuts were made on Saturday.
Sanzenbacher, who was second on the team in receptions (10) and yards receiving (107) during the preseason, was signed as an undrafted rookie in the offseason.
Also, former University of Toledo running back Chester Taylor was let go by the Bears. Taylor is the all-time leading rusher for the Rockets, gaining 4,849 yards.
He was a sixth-round pick by Baltimore in the 2002 draft, and has gained 4,663 yards in nine seasons with the Ravens, Minnesota Vikings and Bears.
