Home sales, prices fall again in Lucas County

The number and average prices of homes sold in Lucas County slipped again last month, the Toledo Board of Realtors said yesterday.

Sales of single-family residences dropped 22 percent to 320 from 408 in March, 2007. Average prices dropped 11 percent to $110,000 from $123,000 in the year-earlier period.

Across northwest Ohio, the number of sales declined 18 percent to 525, and prices fell 6 percent to $118,000. The figures don't include condominiums.
