Temporary signs are in place as the Golden Gate Shopping Center, on the Anthony Wayne Trail near Conant Street in Maumee, gets its first major face-lift in 24 years.

Trail Investors, which owns the site, is spending $1 million to replace the parking lot, install a new roof, lights and sign, and update the facade. The center was built in the mid-1950s.
