Construction moves forward on the Englewood Senior Housing community, a $6 million project to provide low-cost housing for seniors. It is scheduled to be finished by December.
The project on Monroe Street, just east of Bancroft Street, is for people age 55 and older. It will have 38 two-bedroom, one-bath units, with rents ranging from $280 to $345 a month. The complex is being developed the Toledo Community Development Corp. and the City of Toledo's Department of Neighborhoods.
