Toledo-area home sales took a solid upturn last month, with the number sold and the average price increasing in both Lucas County and northwest Ohio, a report yesterday shows.
In May, 396 houses were sold for an average price of $102,020 in Lucas County, up from 377 sales for an average of $96,787 for the month a year ago, according to the Toledo Board of Realtors.
In northwest Ohio, 692 houses were sold for an average price of $110,497, up from 567 sales and $103,643 a year ago, the report shows. May was the second straight month in which sales figures were higher than in the same month a year earlier.
