Since 1940, Beltone has helped people who have experienced hearing loss. The company is committed to developing advanced technology, focusing on patient needs, and enhancing the hearing care experience. Their hearing aids and hearing instruments have helped patients in 1,500 communities in North America alone, and in 27 countries around the world.
Locally, Beltone franchise owners Dan and Jean Fletcher are committed to the highest standards of service. “Our Mission Statement is to treat each patient as if we were treating a dear loved one,” Mr. Fletcher says, “and all of our employees must sign an agreement to treat them that way.” Dan is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences with a BA from Eastern Michigan University. He has served on the Board of Hearing Licensing in Lansing, Michigan, and is a member of BC-HIS.
Dan has obtained every award the Beltone Corporation offers. Dan and Jean are most proud of the “Market Penetration Award” given to the business with the best referral from patients, and the “President’s Cup” Award given annually to the business with the best business practices and patient satisfaction.
Dan and Jean were both born and raised in the Detroit Area. Dan has been with Beltone, fitting hearing aids since 1989. They purchased their first office in 1998 and have expanded to ten offices throughout Michigan and Ohio. Deeply involved in their community, they are active members of their church and spend their nonworking hours raising their three children.
