David Yonke joined The Blade in 1981.
Starting this week, David Yonke will serve as the religion editor of The Blade, executive editor Ron Royhab has announced.
Mr. Yonke, 46, who joined The Blade in 1981 after working at the Tampa Tribune, had been covering the pop music beat for eight years and has been a frequent contributor to this section.
A native of New York City, Mr. Yonke is a graduate of Duke University. He has won writing awards from the Ohio Associated Press and the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists.
