A half-day orientation on the Ohio Compassion Capital Project will be held Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cornerstone Church's Performing Arts Center, 1520 South Reynolds Rd., Maumee.
The free session will provide details on training programs available to faith-based and community organizations, social service agencies and programs, and individuals interested in starting social service and outreach programs.
The orientation program is being sponsored by the Governor's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, in collaboration with the Ohio Community Action Training Organization, the Economic Community Development Institute, the Community Care Network, and the FreestoreFoodbank.
