West Ohio Methodists name youth consultant

The Rev. Tammy Jo Reiser, youth pastor of Waynesville United Methodist Church, has been named youth consultant for the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church.

A graduate of United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ms. Reiser holds a Certificate of Youth Ministry Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary.

She said her immediate goal will be to raise awareness of youth culture as a mission; assess needs of local churches in the area of youth ministry; create resources for youth leaders, and to connect youth with mission partnerships.

Ms. Reiser will continue to work full time at Waynesville UM and part-time as the conference s youth consultant.
