Six prominent theologians will speak on the basics of the Catholic faith in a fall lecture series at Corpus Christi University Parish, 2955 Dorr St.
The Rev. James Bacik, pastor of Corpus Christi, will be the first speaker in the series with a talk on The Human Person at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30.
The series will continue with Lawrence O Brien of the University of Notre Dame speaking on God on Oct. 7; Robert Krieg of Notre Dame speaking on Christ on Oct. 14; Richard Gaillardetz of the University of Toledo speaking on Church on Oct. 21; Peter Phan of Georgetown University on Eschatology on Oct. 28, and Susan Wood of Marquette University on Sacraments on Nov. 4.
All lectures start at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed with questions and answers from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 per lecture or $30 for the series, available from Corpus Christi Parish, 419-531-4992, or online at ccup.org/lectures.html.
