Bedford Christian plans to give away tons of food

Bedford Christian Community, 8970 Jackman Rd., in Temperance, plans to give away 40,000 pounds of food to families in need starting at 9 a.m. Feb. 21.

The church, a member of the Assembly of God denomination, said it wants to reach out with God s love in a practical way during tough economic times.

Any family that would like a box of groceries is invited to the event, no proof of need required, the church said.
