The Toledo Catholic Diocese will welcome 632 members in a ceremony to be held at Rosary Cathedral in Toledo and St. Michael Parish in Findlay on Holy Saturday, April 11.
The new members, from throughout the 19-county diocese, include 182 adults and 40 children who are Catechumens, or unbaptized persons who will be fully initiated into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday.
In addition, 307 new members are candidates who were baptized in another Christian faith. They will receive the sacraments of initiation, Eucharist, and confirmation and will be received into full communion of the Catholic Church.
Another 103 Catholic candidates will re-affirm their profession of faith at their respective parishes during Easter Vigil.
