The Church of the Immaculate Conception, an Old South End Catholic parish also known as Darby, will hold a homecoming Mass at 3 p.m. Sunday with former parishioners invited to come back and celebrate. A reception will follow.
The parish has held a homecoming Mass annually since 1996, but this will be the first since Immaculate Conception was twinned with St. Patrick's Historic Parish in July. The Rev. Dennis Hartigan is pastor of the two parishes.
