DETROIT — Greek Orthodox Metropolitan Kallistos Ware, one of the foremost authorities on Catholic-Orthodox dialogue, will give a presentation on the topic from 10:30 a.m. until noon Feb. 19 at Sacred Heart Seminary, 2701 West Chicago Blvd., Detroit.
The presentation is free and open to the public and will include a question-and-answer session.
Metropolitan Kallistos, the Metropolitan of Diokleia and a native of Somerset, England, is a member of the official committee charged with ecumenical talks between the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church at the highest level.
He also is the author of The Orthodox Way, one of the most highly regarded books offering an account of the doctrine, worship, and life of Orthodox Christians.
